I have a "NIAGRA MASSAGER COMBO W/SUITCASE" for apprasail and for sale !! I think it dates back to the 40's or 50's and it is in "mint condition" and it comes with it's own suitcase with slots for the equiptment and accessories, and it operates as if it just came out of the box today !!
I have these lithographs, that I just got at auction in a boxed lot of pictures, all I've been able to find out is that the artists are known for their paintings of carousel horses (and other carousel animals) and that they do very detailed work based on images of real carousel animals, both of them have their certificate of authenticity, and a small paper telling about the carousel animals, including when they were made, where, and by whom. I would love to learn any more information anyone has on these including their value, as they will be for sale, but not until I find out what they're worth, thanks in advance for any help!
(Sorry, the pictures really don't do these justice, they are in really nice condition, but they're fairly shiny, so I had to photograph them in lower light to relieve glare. And if anyone is interested in purchasing these please feel free to contact me at [email protected])
I am not sure if this stein is worth anything? Am not sure of the history of it. I have found similar ones on some sites but not this one in particular. There are 2 men sitting at a table and a lady who maybe seems to be could be holding a hat or drying dises...not sure. I t has wording 'Bier u.frohes Cied' and 'macht nielebens mud' There is half of a Made in Germany stamp on the base along with the makers mark.
I am submitting this for a friend, so my information is somewhat limited, but I have included some good photos.
My friend received this chair in the early 70's and it was considered to be old at that time, not new.
Chair looks to be hand made, with hand carved images of what looks like either Gnomes or Wizards on top. A three headed/faced wizard looking character is carved into the front of the seat back along with tree or leaf pattern. An elephant, a bird and some type of fish/serpent are carved into the legs. There are no nails, everything is held together with wooden bolts.
We are mostly interested in what this type of chair might be called. Is it one of a kind? And where such a chair may have been created. Country of origin, perhaps a time period.
