A friends father recently passed away and the family is left with selling the estate. This has been in the family for at least 50 years. The purchaser (the wife of the recently deceased has been gone for many years).
A silver greyhound mounted on a silver plate with markings, appears to be Pinder brothers sterling silver weighs 1 kilogram and has a P marking which I think is a 1932 mark. The piece was layered with paint which we are removing still.
Has anyone come across a similar item?
Can confirm what we know about it or add any details?
3 brass pitchers, age unknown but I was told their very old. Large, medium and small. All are hand wrought, with tooling marks evident. lids are fastned with rolled copper. Each have what I believe is an arabic, or some other middle east symbol.
