Cast Iron Fireplace Cover

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Excellent
Description

This is an old antique fireplace cover made out of cast iron.  It is a very beautiful piece of art.   The lady is naked and their are flying baby angels around the lady.  The artwork is raised from the cast iron in the different figures that I mentioned.  It looks like flowers going around the picture of the angels and lady.  The figures has been painted gold but the flowers that trim the art is black.

Silver cigar box, wooden interior, cherubs and roses, Madrid 1929

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Good
Description

This was my grandfathers cigar box. It has a silver exterior, ornate with cherubs and roses. Inscribed on the left front edge of the lid is "FE Department de Trust a" and on the right is my grandfather's name, followed by the date, "18-11-29 Madrid".

There are two tiny squares on the lid handle. The background detail seems high, as there are perhaps thousands of tiny dots, adding to the texture. Please let me know what other details I should provide.
