There are two of these trucks, they seem to be heavy solid brass and have a slot in the bottom and appears to be banks but there is no slot on the top of them to insert the coins, just in the bottom of each. The writing is The Hardystone Bank, founded 1906 with the H&B logo. Both trucks list 1929 on the back of each. All the tires move but that seems to be the only mobile part of them. These trucks are in excellent condition, with original patina.
Can anyone identify this painting and or artist? It is in an old frame with a wooden back to the frame. The painting looks like oil on silk. Not sure if it is Japanese or Chinese. I bought it at a county auction for my 7 year old son. His room is full of Tiger pictures. I got looking at it and can't help but wonder if it may be worth anything. It could put Luke through college. If not please be gentle with us, first timers.
