I have no idea the origin or time period of these chairs! I would greatly appreciate any help in this matter. They have sentimental value in our family so I am planning to have them recovered to keep them. Thanks!
My mother would like to know the value of a persoanl safe she has in her basement. She has had it at least 40 years, but I expect it is much older. On the front of the door, at the top, it has "The American Safe & Lock Co.Cincinnati Ohio" with two US flag embossed on it. It is a combination lock (still functions) with a handle that has "4733 " on it. At the bottom of the door is embossed "Byron H Punnett Safes Rochester, NY" - I assume this is the safe distributor. It sits on 4 castors. There is gold decorarive embossing along the edges. It is very heavy, it took several men to move it to the basement many years ago.
I can't find any info any of these markings. She would like to sell it if is worth anything.
Our neighbor divorced several years ago. His x wife left many things behind. He just discovered this picture. He wants to know it's value. The frame and mat are exceptional.
