THIS IS A CAMEO THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME BY MY GRANDMOTHER AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL BUT, I DONT KNOW WHO THE EMPIROR IS ON IT. I KNOW THAT MY GRANDMOTHER HAD A LOT OF VALUABLE THINGS BECAUSE SHE WAS A COLLECTOR BUT WOULD LOVE TO HAVE SOME INFO ON THIS IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
This bronze vase was brought back to the US by my great uncle just after WWI. I believe it is Meiji period (1900). Vase is marked on the bottom with what looks to be the Kanji "sen" which means "exclusive".
The vase is in mint condition with no scuffs, marks, dings or scratches, and has a great patina. The pictures don't show it but the inside of the neck has raised horizontal rings.
Handmade doll made of yarn with a leather body. She has shoe button eyes. Handkerchief on her head. Dress and handkerchief on her head appear to be made of scraps of material.
This is open and empty. The paper tape is partially ripped off. It is in a gold colored, felt-lined box. "162 Months Old Beam" is written in gold lettering on the felt.
The main body of the bottle is diamond shaped. There is a handle, pour spout, and a cork stopper with a diamone shaped head.
