I bought this item at an anitque store. It was very unusual. While I would consider it a bottle, it is rather vase shaped with a narrow opening. The "lid" is the head of an eagle. Both in shape and in paint. The paint appears to be in excellent condition. The bottle itself is made from what looks to be clay. When I examined the underside of the bottle for markings, a small amount of sand poured into my hand. The surface of the bottle itself is also painted to resemble the body of the eagle. What could this be???
Engraved on front handle with initals SRS. Back of spoon has several marks which are too small to see. Looks like the letter "T" inset in a diamond shape, in addition to a few other marks. Back handle has engraved date of Jan 2-19, 1906.
Pair of Glass lamps wired for use in USA. Wood bottem as HK sticker on it. Electrical unit is Levitan. Is this a murano glass rewired by home owner or just junk?
