It is in its original compartment. It has a knee petal and it works. I have seen an Atlas Deluxe before but ONLY in pink. In the picture is a pair of sears electric scissors.

My mother bought it from a friend that had it sitting out in their garge.  Because of various moves and people who don't care about antiques it has a few scratches and the feet are broken on a couple legs.

 This item is from the 1940-1949 area of time. Has the original paperwork and original box. The item is Chromium Plated, And was manufactured by The Gardner Company.
