Oil Painting By Alice Haigh Dixon
This book was given to my mom from her Uncle. Her Uncle received it during WWII from a friend who lived in Italy. All we know about the book is it's a book of poetry. We are hoping someone can guide us in the right direction and give us an idea of the value. Thank you.
The set when placed next to eachother creat one scene. all the horses and threes are made with mother of pearl. There is no date that I can find on the panels anywhere.

Very bright colors and fun to look at. These ARE ORIGINALS!! I have to part with them do to the dwindling economy. Art always keeps its value. These are oils with a thin wood border that was his trademark. Originated in Paris, France. they are Truly beautiful. Values on current market today list for $750.00 each.
www.procelainmarksandmore.com decribes vase as being from kronach, Bavaria. According to site the vase dates from 1938 to 1940.
I don't have a photo yet, but hope to have one soon. The vase is green and white. The front side is painted with two flowers and leaves. The back side with two leaves. There are light blue lines over the top and bottom.
I don't really know the history on the vase. It is blue background with gold outlined flowers. And Geiesha women on the base. It has beautiful gold dog hanles.
