I was told that this head is possibly an Akan terracotta head of the Twifo-Hemang confederacy,15" dia, 7 1/2" overall height, oval form face with tapering chin, thin rectangular mouth and nose, narrow eyes, circular hole in back of head, weathered, not mounted, bottom of neck unevenly broken, nose appears to have been repaired, if piece is 300-400 years old then it would be in pretty good shape considering it is terracotta. Was told that it is important tribal art by an individual. No real appraisal has been done. I have not found anyone who really knew.
Obviously, this isn't an antique, but I can't find it anywhere on the Tiffany website. It was made in 1996 and I was wondering if it has any value to it.
