This is a oil painting signed by "Jensen". It is of 3 Vikings battling on a snowy mountain. I don't know much about it, other than it is at least 30 yrs old, and was my dad's. He has passed away, so I don't know where he got it from. or even its worth if any.
i am trying to find out more about this necklace, possible age and value. i would be intrested in selling it. there is also a matching ring with it. my best guess is it is size 8. thank you for your time and any info you can provide.
This is part of a wider set from Lofer in the Tirol, Austria in 1950: a wardrobe, table, bedside cabinet and four upright chairs with 'violin' backs. All but the table are similarly decorated. The flower painter was 95 years old. My father asked him to include his name so two chairs are inscribed 'Lofer Land salzburg Mai 1950 gemalt Michael Stainer 95 Jahre' . I grew up with the furniture -very unusual in Wales in the 1950s! I'd love to know of the family in Lofer still makes this. Thank you for your help.
I know very little about the item except that it was purchase by my grandmother. The inscription reads as above on the reverse of the plate. On the front is the painted picture.
