I have no idea what these beads are made out of. If they are simply plasic or something more valuable. I was hoping someone would recognize this and be able to tell me something. It was in a box along with other valuable jewelry so I assume it is also of value.
The watch is in very bad condition, no hands and it doesn't work. It may be something nice for someone who has a collection. The face looks like corroded brass and is badly scratched. The back is the same. The back is not hinged rather it pops off and on and is not difficult to remove. The inside is in much better condition and looks like chrome. The E. Ingraham Company Bristol Conn. USA is engraved on the inside.
The pocket watch is silver with a white face with a second hand at 6:00. The cover protecting the face opens easily. The back opens up easily, as well, the inside is gold plated with a German engraving: Ancre Lingne Droite. VC 60701 Welh. Kollmer Wien 15 rubis. The watch does not work, however (at least I haven't been able to coax it to work...). The chain is not broken and the clasp still works.
The pocket watch is chrome with a gold face and black numbers and a second hand at 6:00. It is in working condition. It has lost 1 min in the past 3 and a half hours. The chain is unbroken and the clasp still works. The back opens easily. It is swiss made and has 10 rubies in the workings.
