Gamewell Fire and Telegraph Co. Nyc Fire Alarm Box

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Excellent
Description

I have a gamewell Fire and Telegraph co Fire Alarm Master box. inside it the alarm box that has a lever one would pull down activating the alarm.  I read this model was used in NYC and called the Excelsior model.  The rooftop of the masterbox has a curved roofline and house on main door where glass would need to be broken to access the key to the alarm box inside.  For the age, the inside part of the alarm's gears actually turn by pulling down the call lever.

Pallisy type vase?

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Excellent
Description

I am hoping someone can help identify and value this vase for me. I apologize if the picture is a bit out of focus. The outside surface very much resembles other Palissy ware pieces I have seen except there are flowers in place of the usual critters you find on such pieces. With the exception of the raised flowers on both sides the entire surface is rough textured with a series of sharp bumps. The interior is glazed and the bottom is unglazed.
Thank you for your help, I hope I can return the favor.cshhm
