This chandelier was hanging in our house in Columbus, Ohio.
It has blown glass teardrops and glass beads decorating the metal frame.
It has a little metal tag on it that says "Made in Italy". It held little flame like light bulbs and the electric cord is still attached.
That's all i really know about it.
This is an easel mirror that has been handed down in my family. There are flowers surrounding the majority of the framework and two nymphs taking in the flowers' fragrance. The mirror is original, very thick glass and sharply beveled at the edges. This is something that I remember seeing at my grandmother's as a girl, and it has enchanted me since then!
It looks like a colonial type of chair, spindle top and rungs, the ergonomic contoured type of seat makes it extremely comfortable to sit in. The back is "waved" witch makes it very attractive. The chair was bought in a second hand store (located in the garage section of the store). It has a dark finish that appears to be the original.
Tops are painted with thorny green vine. 1 pink and 1 white flower with gold center at top of vine and one bud at bottom. Gold edges on both bottom edge of lid and top of bowl.
