NICE OIL PAINTING BY I THINK A DUTCH OR BELGIUM ARTIST. SIGNATURE HARD TO INTEREPET BUT VERY VISIBLE TO THE KNOWING EYE. ABOUT MID FORTIES IN AGE AND HAS A WOOD AND FIBRECLOTH FRAME IN GOOD SHAPE. PAINTING IS A LITTLE DIRTY AND WOULD CLEAN UP NICELY BUT I HAVE NOT DONE SO. FRAME IS 25X35 INCHES AND PICTURE ITSELF IS 19X26 INCHES.
This inro depicts a falcon or sparrowhawk on one side, and has clouds and a small crane on the other. It has a red ojibe and an ivory bamboo-shoot netsuke attached on its cord.
This lamp is a double urn that looks as though it was made into a lamp at a later date. It is guilded and some of it has worn away. I initially thought it might be George and Martha, but now I am not so sure. The man has a powdered wig and the woman is an ash blond. The guilding also trims portions of the scene, such as the creases in their clothing and the woman's hair ornament. The two urns are definitely separate pieces.
Very old looking wood chest.
The mirror is hand carved and very detailed. Very heavy.
This is a 110 amp a.c. arc welder. I have used and seen many welders being in the industry, but never anything remotely like this. The casing of the machine is completely made of wood and nailed together. It must be original, the nameplate with manufacturer (Dynamic Welder Co.) Â and serial number is still attatched. I cannot find this welding company on the internet. There are no dials or controls on the unit, only plug ins where you put the lead and ground cables and a chart that tells you which ports to use depending on the intensity of heat you want to use. There is no date on the unit, so dont really know how old it is. I have no pictures to post yet, however any help would be appreciated..................
