This is a unique wooden slit drum carved out of a solid piece of wood, with the exception of the legs, which are nailed on. It has paint decoration that is flaking off slightly, on the face and tail. The piece is very heavy and there is a large crack on one side, perhaps from the wood drying out. It looks very handmade and I don't know if it is African, Asian or American.

I don't know any history on the vase. My grandmother passed it down to me when she passed last year. My grandmother was 95 when she passed and my grandparents traveled many years overseas for my grandfathers job. Their house looked like a museum from all the items they collected from all the countries they visited.

i found this piece in virginia outside washington dc in a thrift store the lady thought it was cast steel but it is brass for sure i don't know much about this but it does look pretty old

its a canvased oil painting with frame attached....it looks like a street facing the white house...buildings and people on the street...i cant make out the signature on the front of the painting...but on the wood on the back it says fredrie 20...if the means anything...it has an apprasial certificate from a long time ago from home galleries inc...certification number 80054....

This camera is an Ansco Shur Shot, box camera. Film is inserted in the back through a door. The only blemish is on the back window where you could look and see if you had film left in the camera or not. The camera may be as old as 50 years.
