I HAVE HAD THIS SPITTOON FOR OVER 5 YEARS JUST SITTING AROUND HIDDEN BEHIND A TABLE - ONE DAY I WAS REALLY, REALLY PRAYING FOR A FINANCIAL BLESSING TO THE LORD AND OR SOME REASON AS I WAS DUSTING I NOTICED THE SPITTOON ALONG WITH A BRASS FLOWER POT I ALSO BOUGHT THERE - I NEVER NOTICED THAT THERE WAS WRITING ON THE POT UNTIL NOW - I RESEARCHED GOLDFIELD HOTEL ON THE INTERNET AND FOUND OUT A LITTLE ABOUT IT - BUT I'M HOPING THIS IS WORTH A LOT OF MONEY - I DIDN'T EVEN SHINE IT UP BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO DANAGE IT - BUT IT NEEDS POLISHING -
Tea Set. Has 9 saucers, 6 tea cups, 1 tea pot, 1 sugar bowl. 3 of the tea cups are missing. No distinguishing marks or signature except on the bottom of each piece it says, "Made in Japan". Would like to know what it is worth approx. and if I can get replacement tea cups for it.
