I remember this picture since I was a little girl. I am 44 now and my mother gave it to me. It was my grandmother's and unknown where it was obtained back then. It appears the frame may have been altered as there are some type of nails sticking out of the brown paper glued to the back. The paper has not been altered it seems. There are no signature, numbers or identifying marks. I am unsure if the frame I have is the original (not in this attached pic as I had to find the pic online). There is an wood frame with a gold outline on the interior, which seems could be a separate frame inside the wood frame. Perhaps this is where the frame may have been repaired by pulling the gold trim and nailing through the front to back and the nails left poking out the back. I hope not, but it does appear this may be the case unless that is how they were made. I am just interested in determining the age, era, history and an approximate value as I am not going to sell it. Thank you so very much!
this does not have a screw on the top or what ever holds it on.That's all i can see that is wrong with it.has cherubs and hearts.I may sell depending on it's worth.
I am selling the belongings of an older couple who had to downsize to a care center. These four pieces were in their house. They had the tea pot the longest as it is tarnished the most. The other three pieces are tarnished some to almost none.
I've seen these on eBay for not much to a couple of thousand dollars. The couple were well to do and could affort the best.
I am selling the items for them.
I'm not sure how to rate them. They aren't scratched or banged up.
