This is what it has on it. Wheeler & Wilson Co. Bridgeport Conn. D-9 No. 2617059 Patented with dates before the 1900's, with gold looking coin in base. It still workes great.
It looks as if it's never been refinished. It's dark and holds a brass Brandt Furniture of Character on the bottom. 3591 is on the bottom also. It's dark wood. It was my great grandmothers. When & where she obtained it, I have no idea. I have additional pictures if that helps.
Green barrel with gold edging...Stamped underneath H.BEQUET QUAREGNON. Has a black initial of 'A' and a gold initial of 'V' and text of 'Made in belgium'.Hand Painted.
Ostend TEXT on front of barrel which has a Metal/Brass tap, cork stopper on tap and cork stopper on the top which is surround by ceramic. 6 little cups with no chips or breaks as far as i can see with a number of '320' on the bottom of each one.
Bequet worked from 1934 to 1984 my sources say,i reckon this could be approx 1950's but very unsure, any advice would be great. I believe vases go for $75.00 to $100.00 Dollars so this must be a rare piece.
This is my boyfriends mother's set. She is looking to sell some of her items but I have no idea what this is called and would like to know what this is called and the value if any. It has no marks that I can find. It looks to be hand painted. I appreciate any information you can give me.
In 1973, Satchel Paige was a guest at Leo Cloutier's Annual New Hampshire baseball dinner. The autograph was obtained there. I have searched online to try and find another baseball bat signed by Satchel Paige, but have had no luck. Haven't found any full size, let alone any mini bats autographed by him. I know that I have seen many single signed basballs that sell for about a grand. Just curious what this unique item may bring in. Signature has been authenticated by PSA, so it is authentic.
