Late 1800's ELM dresser/chest

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Excellent
Description

4 drawers all have spoon carvings in them - don't have any idea of the meanings, pin and cove for the drawer construction, carcass construction of piece, all original locking mechanisms and hardware, 2 hanker chief drawers are in decent shape, very heavy piece, we think it's elm because the grain seems like it's feathered, drawers open and close smoothly and when opening - we can smell cedar.
