This bowl was found in an old building in Louisville, KY about 25 years ago. It has been sitting on a shelf in my mothers home for all this time. She is interested to know it's value.
I have a large pitcher and a small matching vase. They are white with a brown floral pattern. On the base of the pitcher is a the symbol of a cross inside a circle and either the letter w or m scratched into the porcelain under the glaze. It reads: Smith & Ford Alaska England and has a crown.
My boyfriend owned a moving company he was transfering a elder couples estate to another state,while it was being transfered the elderly man became ill and passed away , when the move was complete the wife was unable to pay and went to her attic and offered my boyfriend two paintings .This being one of them . They both had certificates of authenticity attatched to their back sides .My boyfriend removed them to keep them safe and lost them.
