I discovered that a round plate of this size,11 and 3/8" is called a chop plate. It is white or perhaps a blank. I learned that the mark was used by the Rosenthal company in Germany used between 1891-1906. It is marked Versailles under the back mark.
Caswell-Runyan Company Treasure Chest. Item# 9109. V print style wood grain. Without key. Not sure if this model came with the tray, but I did not receive one when purchased. Cedar smells like brand new. Has the paperwork on the top inside of the chest stating the price of $250.00. Also, underneath the chest I think it has the paperwork from the furniture store where purchased Grand Rapids, MI.
