Four embossed "ribbons", with a star on each, radiate out in an X from the center rose. The back is similarly embosses, except the centralrose is replaced with a place shaped like a coat of arms where a monogram might be placed.
I have a silverplated tea set from International Silver Co. and am trying to identify the pattern.
It is a 7 piece set that includes a kettle and burner, sugar, creamer, waste (?) and coffee pot (no tray or lid for sugar bowl). There is a clear sticker on the bottom of the burner and another piece that says 'International Silver Co. Silverplated India.'
complete set of "The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Knowledge" published by "The Educational Book Guild, Inc." inside page says "made in united states, copyright in 1957, 1956, 1955." also says "copyright in great britian and in the british dominions and posessions". As well as "Copyright in the Republic of the Philippines". i do not know much about them, they are hard and gold colored, very beautiful. very good condition.
