Antique Chippendale Style Shell Carved Mahogany Ball and Claw Drop Front Desk

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

My wife acquired this desk maybe 35 years ago, not sure where or for how much. She's no longer with us, and I'm clearing out and looking to get a fair price for this. I did have a partial label that said "Rockford ILL. Wondering if you can date it and provide any enlightening information and value. Thanks so much for anything you can provide.

I am looking to sell locally as I do not want to deal with shipping.

Antique Rocking Chair with Wicker Seat

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Excellent
Description

My wife got this antique rocking chair from her grandmother who has been saving it for many years. I cannot find any markings about who makes it, but it looks to be handmade due to the roughness and small glob of glue I was able to find.

Cast Iron Strong Box

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Excellent
Description

Hoping the brains trust can help us identify if this huge iron strong box is a Colebrookdale as it has no markings.  It’s a massive piece weighing over 440 lb (200kg) and the dimensions are 30 inches (760mm)  (h) x 36 inches (920mm) (w) x 24.5 inches (620 mm)  (d).

Seperate cast iron pieces with huge rivets into an inner panel. (Not a single casting)

many thanks

Old Meeting House Maple Furniture

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

I have two pieces of the Old Meeting House Maple collection that has been in our house for better than 30 years. They came with the house when my parents bought it 35 years ago.

The first piece is a butterfly style table with 2 additional leaf inserts. It is in pretty good condition for being as old as it is. It has some normal age related wear but is still in good condition.

The second piece is a buffet/sideboard with the number 6612 on the back. It also has the original packers tag. It too has 30+ years of normal wear on it but is in real good condition.

I am just trying to guage what I should sell them for. I know they are not perfect but they are sturdy, beautiful pieces.
