Very large signed Chinese silk embroidered piano shawl or Canton Manton De Manila. Excellent condition. No stains or holes. Minor fraying of fringe. Exquisite workmanship. Found in an attic in a Holt Renfrew box.
Item is a flower stick pin with a gemstone set in the middle of the flower. Label on "clasp" reads "C.P.G."HOLD-ON" and the patent number is 13009. Thats all i was able to find.
Im pretty sure the pin is 14k gold. I can just barely make out, what im pretty sure, is the "14k" symbol on the actual needle piece itself. Its very small and the "k" is kinda faint and worn down so im not totally sure.
Any info, such as what the gemstone is, manufacture date and the estimated price would be much appreciated
