I purchased this Stirrup Cup at our local goodwill not knowing exactly what it was. My research has gotten me as far as I now know it is a Stirrup Cup. I'm interested in knowing it's potential value and if it is collectible?
I bought this at an auction in Central Ohio about 10 years ago for $35. I believe it is a Heat Lamp due to the large coil filament and the reflector behind the bulb. It gives off heat and light. It seems to be a scientific instrument. I haven't been able to find any info on the net about this device.
The only writting is on the outside of the socket. It states:

Is this rare and valuable? Or is it a mass produced item?

LOS ANGELES, CALIF...on the bottom of the bottle it reads: 23 (funny symbol in the middle) 48under that 3c, under that..duraglas..and under that 94G
pictures show bottom of vase with signature and date? front with animals and side with animals. one of the squirrels heads cracked off and ones tail is cracked but besides that the vase is perfect. The white on it is dust
