Wooden clock with candle holders, made in a kriss cross shape, Hand painted in the center is an old man smoking a pipe, wooden shoes, on what appears to be a dock, dutch sailor perhaps. Clock does not work, engraved on the back of the clock Made In USA, pat. Oct 28, 1902 or 1802 perhaps, date hard to read, I'm not sure what kind of wood it is made of, no other markings on the wood besides painting

there was a new cord and bulb outlet added to the lamp replacing the original.

I found what looks to me like an old lamp base on a back shelf in a garage. I believe that it belonged to a former resident of the house who was born in the late 19th century. It has a great deal of patina on it and is a very dark gray color. The top part of it has been broken off, and although it sits steady, I can see that it is dented in on the side that has an "N" monogrammed on it. There is alot of floral detail on the legs and on the base. I tried to clean a little bit on the base to check to see if it was silver underneath. The circular mark says, "Barbour Silver 00 Quadruple 2150".
I am curious as to what it looked like when it was new, how old it actually is, and if it would be able to be restored.

Titles include Romeo and Juliet,Hamlet, Cymbeline, Othello, Timon and Athens, and King Lear. Binding is coming off, but pages are all in tact.

Seems like signature is Wlakham and M Eddis made in Maryland serial number seems cant really make out N-14020 in writing same ink as signature for serial numbers.
