Friend has three or four pieces cobalt blue glass. I have seen Vase (photo) and creamer. Both have same design. White underneath the blue with cut out design to clear glass. Has gold design on cobalt. No names or markings that we can find. Also has two or three with similar design in a cranberry color. Was left to him by a family member. Needs to know more about to decide if wants to sell or if needs insurance on these pieces. Vase is approximately 18 inches tall. In really good condition. Creamer is approximately four inches tall and in excellent condition. I have not seen others, just photos.
This is a 20 piece set my mother received as a Wedding gift in 1972, it has been packed away since and never been used. Consists of four tea cups, four saucers, four side plates, four dinner plates and four soup/cereal bowls.
The set is blue and white in colour and in excellent condition.
Hand engraved by W.N Mellor (as per attached picture)
Have done a little research but have not come across a full set yet.
The face of the watch says Bulova Accutron, the back of the watch says BULOVA, N6, F86623 and under that 10 KT RGR Bezel Stainless Steel Back. The inside of the watch says Bulova, N6, Swiss 13 Thirteen Jewels Unadjusted, 2301 A, and the inside of the back cover has 3627 and 11 6 stamped on it and says use only cells marked accutron 218, also what looks like the date 7/83 and an upside down 4.
I acquired this watch at a flea market years ago and it has been in my storage until now, I know that the N6 is for the date which is 1976 but cannot seem to find out what 2301 A means if anything. Any information would be helpful. Thank You
Large ship's wheel mirror, bi-colored. Blue colored mirror at base, clear mirror at top half. Etched glass from behind of sailboat on waves. Size is at least 24" in diameter. There are no markings on it.
I believe it was a wedding present to my great-grandparents in the early 1920's - he was a Merchant Marine.
