I have a General Electric Trimline 400 solid state stereo, but unfortunately I'm not finding much info about it. I see info about the 500 series but not 400. Can someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

1950's (??) wood water skis

Category
Sports Cards and Sport Items
Condition
Mint
Description

These are outboard wood water skis made by Kimball Dihedral designed by Don Ibsen.  I found them when I cleaned out my great aunt's garage.  They were up  in rafters of the garage covered in dust.  They have never been used and I am sure of this because the original manufacturer's tag is still attached.  There are some minor scratches from storage and moving but otherwise they are in mint condition.  I am guessing that they are from the 1950's or so because I saw a very simsilar pair on Ebay and that is the year listed on their posting.

"Snuff Container" or "Urn"

Category
Other
Condition
Excellent
Description

I obtained this over ten yearsago. I was told it was bought overseas many years before that.  It is metal and the inside looks to be silver but there are no markings. There are 10 gems embedded on each side. Long looks to be brass chain 13 inch in length.  There looks to be a 1/4 inch brass band around the entire item to bring both sides together. Weight is 7 oz..

Looks to be handmade and very ornate.Reminds me of those containers that in asia would be used for incense and swing around,  but there is no opening except for the top which does close tightly. Could be some sort of brass on the outside but the inside is definately silver color with soldering or weld points along the inside seams. The top is hinged. Someone told me this could be a "snuff container". Looking forward to selling this but do not know what to call it or describe it properly in the ad. Hoping it worth lots of money but I have not won the lottery yet and this also is probably a long shot :-)

Please feel free to ask any questions that might help you identify this item.

By the way, there is no smell on the inside from liquor or drugs. Not that I know what drugs would smell like on the inside :-)

Old Rocking Chair

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

This rocking chair has been in the family since 1914.  The back and seat were formed out of one curved piece of wood.  It is stamped with "Wisconsin Chair Company" under the seat.  It appears that it has never been restored because of the natural wear on the arm rests.  It is a very solid piece with no major cracks in the wood.
