I have the pair. The other dog looks exactly the same as the pictures below. There are no nicks or scratches. White porcelain dog with gold chain collar. Has gold accents on front. Small hole in back. No markings. There are little black lines all over the dog (kinda looks like it's cracked but it's not cracked). The front leg is seperated from the body. I want to know if this pair are original Staffordshire dogs or if it's a replica and how much is it worth. If any can answer these questions or knows anything about the history please e-mail me. My history:The bed was purchased in Germany by my grandparent’s pre 1993.  In 1993 they wanted to ship the bed back to America when they moved.  To do so they needed an appraisal for shipping insurance.  At that time the bed was appraised for 20,000 euro (1993).  After the bed arrived in America it was sent to a smith for restoration.  I acquired the bed this year and I am in search of an appraisal for fair market value. I know the Winfields limited company was est. in 1829 and closed in 1900.  What exact year the bed was manufactured I do not know.  I know that the bed is solid brass and not plated.  The bed is in great condition.  All brass is untarnished and UN weathered.  The bed was kept in a spare bedroom since 1993 always indoors and always kept clean.

Table is 54" diameter and has 5 leaves to accomodate seating for the 12 chairs.  Only the table support legs need help, and seats reupholstered.  Restore a finish should be used to bring back the finish and dust.
