Antique Limoges Porcelain Plate with Painting of Girl's Face

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Fair
Description

This plate is a Limoges Porcelain plate with a girl's face painted on it. Plate is cream colored with blue border. Plate is 9 inches in radius at its widest point. There is an old surface crack that does not compromise the plate. You can see the crack pretty clearly in the pictures. Sorry the picture of the girl's face close up is so blurry! The Limoges mark is also visible on the last picture. There is no date but this plate is at least 90 years old.

Italian? Ceramic Shell bowl

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Excellent
Description

This is a beautiful bowl. I have had it for at least 10 years. My g'ma had it on her end table for as long as I can remember. I loved putting it up to my ear and pretending I could hear the ocean. I cannot insert the pic for some reason no matter what I do. And after entering your secret 'code' 4 or 5 times it finally takes it. If you want email me at [email protected] and I can send a pic to you. This is VERY frustrating!

suit case

Category
Other
Condition
Fair
Description

This is a briefcase or small traveling case that looks like it belongs to someone who boarded the Titanic is how I describe it.  It's old, I just don't know how old.  It has leather on the outside and red silk on the inside.  The outside is pretty beat-up, but the inside is in good condition. It looks like twead leather (orange-brownish).
