I got this at an auction and wondering if it is refurbished, which company made this, if it's not authentic, what maker's marks have been removed, etc. The only distinguishing mark is the metal plate with an apparent serial number on it on the inside of the door (1558-7390) It looks too good to be that old! Thank you so much for any additional info. Best,
my godfather gave me this gun before he passed in 1994. i dont know anything about it, can you tell me possibly what kind of gun it is and perhaps the date? that would be great as i know nothing about guns,
the gun isnt in the best of shape, he told me they found it underground while digging a foundation for something, from what ive researched its an antique flintlock black powder rifle, but i could be wrong, i know nothing about guns and there values, i was told by someone it was made before 1900. any help? that be appreciated
These were my great grandmother's. I inherited it upon her passing. It is a pair I believe. One is now cracked. i am not sure what the proper care to repair that would be. I certianly don't want the repair to damge it's value further. I am in need of fincacial assitance at this time. I would like to find a vendor to sell these item to also if possible.
