antique pie safe?

Category
Home Furnishings
Condition
Good
Description

My grandmother passed this on to my mother around 50 years ago.  I know very little about it other than they called it a pie safe and would really like some history on the item.  It is a dark wood, little reddish tint.  Please let me know if you need more in order to let me know what I have.

Nice Chinese pot. Not very much info on it as I found it at a Goodwill store. each side painted similar but not perfect matches. no chips but it does look like the makers mark has worn off a bit.
