Description

This cabinet was given to my grandma by my grandpa as a surprise one-year anniversary gift in 1941.  They lived in St. Louis, MO and my grandma had said it was expensive at the time, although I know "expensive" is relative.  I don't know where he bought it, or who made it.  The only markings I can find is the number 6 carved into the wood in 4 different parts of the cabinet.  Any information anyone could give me as to its history or worth would be wonderful!  I'm not selling it because it's my very favorite peice of furniture, but I am curious.  Thank you so much!
