I have a 5 piece Mahagony Parlor furniture set, with chairs, rocker and seatee. It has carved lion head arms and claw feet. It has a tag on it that says "Southern Parlor Furniture Company, LTD, New Orleans". I need as much information as possible and to see if it is worth anything and where i might be able to sell it. We have the cushions, the seat bottoms have springs and Upholster made of brocade ( sorry about speling). I was told it is from the 1880's but not real sure.

Re: Mahagony parlor lion head and claw feet
I have a rocker with angel carvings ( not lion) that matches this design and found a matching settee and chair to it is on this site. The set was also known to come out of New Orleans. I'd love to know more about your set--beautiful!
