Pictures that was left to me in an estate. I have little information on the two pictures. Pictures are in good condition, with nice wood frames. Thank You, Jerry
Sorry I don't know anything about your prints. I do know that I just picked up a set and it's exactly like yours except the paper on the back of mine is in worse shape.
Have you found anything out about this set? I am just curious as to their history and such.
pictures like this can be found everywhere on the market. lets call them CORPORATE ART. I like this because, behind every desk in an office they have something like this on the wall. If yours was signed it could be worth more. most Prints like this sell around $40.. for the pair. more or less. depending on the subjects and size will make the price go up or down. yours will go for more then a cat and dog picture. Windsor Art Products was one of several decorative arts publishing companies which were very active from the early 1900's through the 1970's. The decorative arts businesses purchased rights or commissioned artists' original images which they then reproduced on canvas or board that was pressed or embossed to simulate the brush stroks that you would see if an artist painted a picture with a brush. This was not done with intent to deceive, but rather to offer lovely artwork to customers who wanted decorative wall art for their homes. "Renoldo" is a typical signature of pieces like this...not really the artist's name most of the time--just something somebody used.
in the early days these sold for around $125.00 and $150.00
