I dont know too much about this item but I am looking to see what it is worth.  My house was built in the 1940s and I believe the insert came with the build.

The fireplace still works although we had to disconnect it due to our little person.

Any information would be helpful.

I have two big soup plates with Bishop & Stonier pressed mark, the one with snakes and wings. And the plates have hand painted crest with lion and "Floreo in Ungue Leonis". large victorian platter decorated with 2 men, 1 lady, and a small dog, and maybe poppies on the outer rim, looks hand painted.. there is a marking on the back and i've looked all over the internet and can not find anything else like it
