Platinum Wheat Fine China Japan

Category
China
Condition
Good
Description

I have my mother's (who is nearly 80) set of Platinum Wheat Fine China.  It was bought in the 1960's with S&H Greenstamps (I think) or was a promo from a grocery store.  She has a full set of 8 that was used for family Holiday's (Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas) while I was growing up.  She also has a full set for 12 not ever openned and still in the box. There are some serving pieces as well.  I would like to sell the complete set of 19 or 20 ASAP.  I will include the serving pieces with the set.  I live in NC where Replacements is and they are fully stocked and not buying anymore of this line of China.

Drexel Heritage Dining Room Set 1976

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

1976 Drexel Heritage Dining Room Set: Table is measures 61" X 41" with leaf (41X41 without). 4 Cane back chairs (2 with arms, 2 without), brushed leather (I think) seat cushions. The set is in good condition. Some minor scratches - normal wear and tear for a 37 year old table. The leg of one of the chairs has some scratches (from my dog). This is the only major flaw that I think couldn't be largely fixed with some polish and wax. Also, the leather of the seat cushions would benefit from a cleaning (or the cushions could be recovered).

This is a table that my parents purchased new in 1976 and was later given to me. My fiancee and I now have another set and no room to store this one. I believe that the set could be very saleable for a dealer with some TLC and elbow grease (even more so if it was completely refinished). Unfortunately, I don't have the experience or time to do it myself. Even without a complete overhaul, an hour of wax and polish - which I may end up doing myself - would make this a nice set for someone.

Thanks in advance for any insights you may have!

Chinese ? Blue and White Bowl

Category
China
Condition
Good
Description

This blue and white deep bowl is very heavy and has a fluted rim. It is 22cms in diameter  x 8 cms high and  has a lot of Chinese figures painted on the inside and on the outside surrounded by flowers. There is a blue circle at the bottom inside and out but it is uneven and wider in parts. I would be very grateful for any information please.

Wolf Dog Stirrup Cup Goblet

Category
Silver and Silver Overlay
Condition
Good
Description

I found this at a local antique store.  I have seen several of these cups on ebay and I think they are called a stirrup cup.  The ones I have seen are usually marked with Gucci on one side and Italy on the other.  The only markings on this cup is Italy M/M.  This is located on the back of the head of the animal.  I would like to find out who made this cup and any other information.  I think this is a really cool looking cup and a great conversation piece.  Any help and apprasial would be greatly appreciated!

I really know nothing about this chair.  It was in my father's house.  Any ideas on it?  I may want to sell but have no idea of value.
