I'd like to find out what this tapestry might be worth. My great-grandfather made a trade with Native Americans during the Spanish American War. It's been with the family ever since. The colors are still extremely vibrant considering the age. It's woven out of very fine thread which has a wool-like texture.
chalk ware or/ plaster pair of table lamps.
lamps do work
mostly off white and/or beige. with little gold gilt. painted randomly throughout.
small chips, dings & scratches here and there but overall good condition
2 lion heads on either side
seems to be Greek, roman or maybe gothic style.
roughly about 5lbs+ each.
chalk/ plaster is solid from top to just past halfway point down. about tops of children's heads and then hallows out.
has some floral design, with children that look to be playing wrapped around lamp. there are 12 children doing different activities of some sort.
there is felt lining on base. with cord & plug. plugs are different on each, one 2 prong traditional. one brown with clamp & teeth mechanism that bites into wire jacket.
there is no signature, or making on any kind.
any and all info is greatly appreciated. even any leads as who to contact or go to for further info would be helpful.
I haven't been able to find another pair online after several weeks and attempts of research, similar but not matches.
