Old coffee grinder

Category
Other
Description

I am hoping to find out what this large coffee grinder is worth. It stands about four feet tall and is cast iron I think. It has a patent date of Dec 27, 87. It has surface rust, but it is very solid. It is missing the wheel to turn it and the gears seem frozen. Anything you can tell me about this would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

J. L. George Nine-Drawer Dresser

Category
Furniture
Condition
Excellent
Description

I have acquired a dresser that I am unable to locate any information for. The maker is J.L. George, and I was told it is a mahongony wood, but I am not certain of it. There are 3 drawers along the top, and two columns of 3 drawers more, each, with brass handles. The drawers have a dovetail construction. There is a loose marble top, likely added by the purchaser to protect the dresser top. There are two brass tags attached to the back. The first reads:

J.L. George & Co.

Cameron Road,        RM. 105, Peninsula

Kowloon                    Hotel Kowloon

BEAUS ARTS CARVING WOODENWARE DE LUXE FURNITURE INLAID WITH OTHER PRECIOUS METALS REPRODUCTION OF CHINESE ANTIQUE FURNITURE

MADE IN HONG KONG

The second tag is a trademark and reads "The Original J.L. George".

My understanding is the dresser is an antique, but I am unable to locate any other markings or tags that could be indicative of the age. The dimensions are as follows.

33"H x 6O"W x 20"D (marble dimensions .75"H x 61"W x 20.5"D)

Any assistance you are able to provide is greatly appreciated,

Thank you!

Antique National Cash Register

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Fair
Description

A National Cash Register thats in ok condition. It has a National sticker/mark on the back. Could stil be used if a little work is done on is as some of the keys are stuck. Has plastic coverings over the keys as it was converted from pounds to dollars. Has receipt despencer on the side and origional key to open up the front cover, insert to make it work and open up the side pannel to access the mechanisim. However the lock has seized up so some work my need to be done to make the register functional again. besides that the metalwork seems to be in good condition with no dints in the sides.

Old Tin Rocking Horse

Category
Antique Toys
Condition
Good
Description

An old 1950's pressed tin rocking horse used as a childs toy. No restorations have been made and the paint is still reasonably good for origional condition but is fading slightly. Still has origonal handles but the stirrups are missing. No print mark but evidence of one on the front. Slight amount of oxidation forming but not incredibly noticable. The joins between the horse and the ricking base are still good and could still possibly be used. Again origional condition no restorations or noted repairs have been made.

Painting by Lee Reynolds ?

Category
Paintings
Condition
Mint
Description

10" x 10" Painting on stretched canvas. Attached to the back at time of purchase is a folded tag with the name Lee Reynolds and a biography of Lee Reynolds on the tag's inside. The signature on the front is initials L.R. The signature may actually be applied with a sharpee marker judging by the roundness of the periods. All of the Lee Reynolds signatures I saw online were his full name, not initials. I'm not sure it's a Reynolds painting. I would like to have the artist identified certainly and a value estimated. Then I will sell it.
