6 cups and saucers mint condition very light porcelain bright orange with gold inlay i think and one sugar bowl all are stamped 'foreign' on the bottom about 2 and a half inches tall
This antique porcelain set contans hand painted pieces: 5 cups, 6 saucers, 5 plates, one lage plate , one teapot and one sugar bowl( with lids). They were made in Japan in the 1920's by Moriyama of Mori-machi in Shizuoka i think Of special interest are the golden dragons and the raised texture dots on the handles of everything in the set. th cupshave geisha lithopanes but on the bottom of every thing else it says ritz china
The sugar bowl are both 6" high and 7" wide at the widest part. The large plates are 7 3/8" across. The saucers are 5 3/8" across an. The cups are 3 1/2" across and 2" high.
Been in the family for a few generations and we were curious as to what it is and how old it might be. There's some sort of Asian symbol on the bottom of it (at least i think it's Asian). Definitely looks hand crafted. Any help would be appreciated.
