Dillingham cedar chest

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

I received a dillingham cedar chest for Christmas and was looking for more information on the item. I also wanted to see if I was able to get a new lock because this one does not have the key.

The serial number is 28568 or 28548. I believe it is a 6 & not a 4.

Shadlitz - Kennedy & Co number 71883

Category
Paintings
Condition
Good
Description

This is probably a print or watercolor (see picture).  I think that it says "Shadlitz" in lower left hand corner (see second picture).  It looks like there is something under "Shadlitz," but it is covered by the frame.  There is a label on the back that says "Kennedy & Co" with number "71883" (see picture 3).  My wife's grandfather bought it for $200 in the 1950's.
