Signed Rafi Rough Cloth Art

Category
Fine Art
Condition
Good
Description

This measures about 10" x 8".  It's really kind of rough in design. It's signed Rafi, but then has added letters to it, so I don't know what they mean. The back is closed or glued, with a very rudimentary closure that almost resembles peanut butter. I dont know if this is street art, or what kind of art this is part of. I do know that I found it in a lot, where there were higher end pieces, so don't know where this would fit. I'm interested in selling all of my pieces.

Unknown Sculpture- Upside Down Head with Bricks?

Category
Decorative Arts
Condition
Good
Description

I dont know anything about this. I thought I'd be able to find something similar through google and past auctions, but I've not been able to. It seems to be a hollow pottery sculpture. I thought it could be tin because of the lip at the bottom of the base, but everyone here seems to think it's pottery.  It measures 5-6". It weighs less than a pound.  It's quite different. I am interested in selling all of my pieces, but want to know what they are first.

Picasso Metal Tile La Ronde- Special Edition? Never Have Seen

Category
Fine Art
Condition
Good
Description

The frame measures 6" x 6". The metal tile measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4".  It is on a metal backing that appears to be gallery type hanging. It weighs just under 6 ounces and has tiny "water" type droplets on the actual tile. I haven't attempted to clean it as I don't know what it is yet. If they massed produced these, I've never not been able to find the source. I wondered if they were a special edition? I do know that Picasso's signature is not the same as on the La Ronde lithograph. It's clearer and is not underlined. Some of the dots near the squiggle lines, are also placed differently than on the La Ronde lithograph. I am not a collector and would be interested in selling all of my pieces once I know what they are and have an idea as to value.

Furniture appraisal

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

I don't know the type of wood it is carved from. I don't know how much was paid for it or where or when it was purchased. All I can do is take a picture of it, measure its dimensions and hope somebody can give me an honest appraisal on it. It was originally owned by my elderly mother who liked to collect antiques, but she passed away and I dont have any info on it whatsoever. Any help on this would be great. Thanks

sincerely

Alan
