I have an 8 piece setting of meito china large serving platter serving bowl but no lid sugar and creamer set salad plates soup bowls bread and butter plates dinner plates. Date unknown handed down from grandmother. Good condition.
I have an old wood frame with an art print of an Angel playing a Violin. The back has a sticker that reads Made in Italy on the first line and Roma - Melozzo Da Forli on the second line. On the third line it says Angel. The print has some kind of laquer on it and it is inside of the frame. There is a little blue or black flower in each corner of the frame and it has a gold design (gilding) all around it. The gold is on top of the paint which is a redish orangish color. There are little gold circles on the outside of the frame. There are a very few little spots where the gold came off and it looks like there is plaster underneath.
Table was manufactured by Brandt and metal tag inside of drawer reads "Brandt Furniture of Character Hagerstown, MD". Only one drawer with lion's head drawer pull.
Chair with adjustable, bent wood back. Looks a lot like an old '40s drafting stool, but the seat height isn't adjustable. Wingnuts adjust back height. Round wooden seat sits on square steel frame with tulip curved legs. No identifying marks. From all I can tell, it may be a Toledo/Uhl or just a knock off.
I inherited these chairs from a friend who paid a lot for them at a swanky boutique in Los Angeles. Any thoughts about what these chairs are, what they're really worth and how much I could sell them for?
