Original Finish, Great condition

 This was found in an attic at a local estate sale. It has been refinished, it had been covered with green paint. There is a serial number18670 and style number 89-45. The guarantee found with the chest says it was made by Tennessee Red Cedar &Novelty Company.

I don't know much at all about cameos. My mother bought a bag of mixed jewelry at an elder womens estate sale and gave it to me. This cameo Broach was in the bag. Its a beautiful piece. It looks like black glass, has gold tone all around it.

I have had this item up for a few years hoping to get an appraiisal from some of the experts here and I'm pleased to say that I got a few pearls of wisdom. That being said I had never really wanted to sell really just wanted to know the value incase something happened to it. Well, because of a death in the family I have decided to sell. I have seen these go from $15,000 to $22,000.
