Hello,I am hoping to get some help on identifying what I believe to be some sort of old brass military item, guessing WWII.I have no idea what this is and would like to identify it.In the center where the insignia/logo is located unscrews and there is a small bowl area in there where it looks like sometheing would go.I looked up british and french coats of arms and found nothing, but believe it to be french or british,on the center piece it has"HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE",roughly translated "Shamed Be He Who Thinks Evil Of It",which is french but was also used by the british, this is all google info.In the pic you can see all the small holes surrounding the center,so I thought maybe some sort of heater or burner,I dont know.I am hoping someone spots this and can tell me what it is,I thank anyone and everyone for any info they may have in advance.
At the base of each piece they are stamped with Wilcox International 7074.
2 Teapots, sugar bowl, waste bowl, creamer, and the tray. I was wondering if you knew anything about the set and if possible could you tell me the value of the set. If so, I might be interested in selling it.
It appears to be an old fashioned wash stand. There is a mirror attached. It has a hole for the basin. It has a washbasin, pitcher and chamber pot with lid. The pottery might be stoneware but I don't know for sure. The pitcher has a small circle on the bottom of it but I imagine that is probably just a flaw. I can't find any other markings. I've attached some pictures. As regards the pottery, I'm not sure what it is. It feels almost like some type of metal overlaid with ceramic.
These numbered 1-4 elephants appear to be made from hard plastic, are in what appears to be orginal box and are in super good shape. Anyone know anything about these? What they are, who made them and value? I am unable to locate them online anywhere. Help please?
