I believe this tintype to be a portrait of Abraham Lincoln, Mary Todd Lincoln, and Tad Lincoln. The box is in very good condition, and the hinges are intact. There is no visible damage to the exterior.
Large decorative wooden spoons. POsibly made in the 17C in Persia. Studded with tin or brass? ornaments and wires. I see double headed eagle ornaments, but I don't know if they represent persian culture or some Vizantian possibly.
Not even sure what purpose these serve- looking for more information on what they are.
I would hazard a guess that they are some sort of hair accessories, as the middle prongs hinge out like a sort of clip (although I've been laughably unsuccessful in putting them in my own hair). Possibly for pincurling?
