My husband bought what he says is an Empire Philadelphia sideboard. I'm wondering if we got good deal or just a huge piece of furniture. It has two convex drawers, a slide out board on the right, and three cabinets below, including a convex center one. It appears to be flame mahogany.
I will send pictures too, but I really can't explain anything about this clock. I don't know where to look to get info about it. That's why I am on here. I have model number and Serial number. It says that it is a baldwin grand father clock and people keep telling me that they didn't make grandfather clocks, but clearly they are wrong because it has numbers on it's metal plate that is attatched to the inside of the cabinet. I would appreciate any info that can be given. I am looking to sell this clock and don't want to under charge or over charge anyone. Thank you and have a blessed day.
I have been looking up Thomas Pell for a while now and I can only get e-bay sites where they say he is a well known artist (but have no info on him) or I get a historical Thomas Pell from New York City. I was just wanting to know anything about the painter and how much its worth. Thank you!
