Japanese tea set

Category
China
Condition
Excellent
Description

I have a japanese tea pot set, it has 4 cups and a large plate. I think it  is made out of clay, then it has a dragon overlay type of design that is either silver or some kind of metal. Im not sure. I also have the original box. The box isnt in the best shape, but stil holds the set. I took it to an antique dealer once before and he figured it was real silver and the set came from japan during WWII. whether or not it did, I dont know. I would like to know where the set is from, how old it is and an appraisal value if possible.

Laufen Toilet

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Excellent
Description

I have googled the item and found the following: English-made Nautilus II, which is sold in this country by Burgess International (313-292-7070). This is a real royal flush. A white Nautilus II sells for $3,000; in black, the price increases to $4,500. The mold for this lion-shaped commode is so complex that only 16 out of every 100 toilets survive the casting process.

I have contacted Laufen and they do not have any more information on it than what I found on google. I also read that it is the same type toilet that Elvis was on when he died.

Description

This is a small Tiger Maple Commode with Black Walnut accents and Tulip Poplar secondary wood.  The piece has a hand dovetailed drawer with carved pulls that look like bunches of grapes.   There are no stamps, signatures or other markings.  I am hoping to find out the manufacturer of the piece as well as the approximate date of manufacture and value.
