Turquoise and silver squashblossom necklace. Measured 24" long not including the medallion. The only markings I can find is "G M" on the back of the medallion, and the price my grandmother paid for the necklace approx. 50 years ago.
I do not know a ton about this set. I cant find anything on the maker... I see other sets like this one for sale for quite a bit more than I expected. I do have the six chairs and the leaf. There is one medium bad/rough spot on the table. It has rollers on the paws.... very nice
You open the top and it has one storage type area taking up half the area then the other half are leaf's folded inward. Open the leaves to find copper or brass on the face. teh center automatically lifts using a small pulley mechanism and reveals a holder that slides back and forth for cups, shot glasses... Slide it and it reveals more storage. Interesting and cool piece.
I don't know much about this item other than it was given to me by my grandmother when I was 16 I am now 51 years old. She aquired it from an elderly lady she took care of with instructions given to her not to ever sell it. My grandmother told me the same. I am just curious if it is part of a set of something like a set ex: for the vanity or a sugar cube bowl
