Please help identify this object!

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Excellent
Description

I wish I could tell you some basic information about this object but I honestly have no idea where it came from, I found it among some rubbish that had been fly tipped near my old house and it has been sitting in my kitchen ever since. When I found it it had been converted into a rather ugly looking lamp with a hole in the bottom for a wire to run through.

The second and third picture are of three symbols that are across the neck on both sides.

E. G. Webster & Son antique silverplate repousse 30 piece complete dinnerware set

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Excellent
Description

5-piece place setting for 6 people. Actually my brother in law has another exact set, so it could be for 12 people. Dinner plate or charger, luncheon/salad plate or smaller charger, demitasse cups and saucers with Lenox china liners, goblet with real gold wash inside. Besides the initials that indicate E. G. Webster & Son, faint marking E 8111/25. Repousse pattern is musicians, dancers, birds, and floral. Very little if any wear or discoloration. 1 or 2 plates have a couple of "dimples", and 1 Lenox liner is missing small chip. Lenox cups have a gold band aroud the top. Have not been able to find anything like this set available anyware. Just a few holloware pieces. I saw a matching coffeepot on line already sold. We originally had the matching coffeepot and sold it for $500 in the 70's. My cousin said the goblets are lined with platinum gold, but that doesn't sound right to me. I would like to know what you think the goblets are lined with, and what you think the whole set is worth. Am I better off selling it in pieces?
