very ornate - 18, K 65 - 0 - 8 crown hallmark, another hallmark I cant identify & maybe the year letter that I cant really make out ( looks like a P though)
There are some condition issues. One foot missing, and it looks like it was dropped as there is a slight indenting where the missing foot is supposed to be. Some spots on the inner tray that I'm not sure if it's worn through to the base metal or if it is mineral/rust deposit (we have really hard water in this area and it looks like there was water in it while being stored). There is also some slight scratches (likely from cleaning), but they seem shallow/surface so I'm wondering if they could be buffed out.
Could not find anything on the internet about this particular knife, however I did find one article for a similar knife, although it doesn't list a price. http://cutlerscove.com/hunting-knives/gerber475hs.htm This is an S 62 whereas mine is an S 59. They do look pretty similar, except the grip and sheath are slightly different for mine.
The blade itself is in very good quality, no signs of use. The sheath has slight wear from sheathing and unseathing the knife.
We have this chest that we dont really know much about it was made in Hong Kong. it is an art carved kiln dried chest. anything you could tell me about this wouldd be great and the value of it as well thanks Gary
i wonder the price of this brown glass and also the maker. i saw a few other purex bottles on ebay, but they are not the same as the one i have. I find the most valuable thing about the bottle is its ability of making bass as i blow in it or a whistle as i blow to the side of the stem. am i correct?
